The Weekend Round Up:

Rumble in Richmond

This weekend our teams competed in the Richmond Rumble and had a great showing. Another thank you to all the coaches, players & parents that helped make the weekend such a success!

Both U11 teams had a great showing this weekend! Coach CJ White and Coach Holava lead the teams with great poise. The U11A team got fired up with a win against Canadian team EDGE to advance to the semi-final game. After a hard fought battle the team fell to the Cannons in OT. Great job boys!

The 2021 Blue team lead by Coach Kronberger game out swinging with a solid 9-1 win against C2C Dallas. Goalie Trey had an outstanding day coming up with a ton of saves in the last two games! Midfielder Taylor played with heart and hustle the whole time and really showed what it is like to be a hard worker.

The 2021 orange went 2-2 over the weekend and accomplished our dual goal of having fun and getting better.  The boys made significant progress learning the bulldog zone and moved the ball well in spurts.  We look forward to continuing the progress in Md and having the full team together for practice in the spring.

A Big Congratulations to the 2020 Team, lead by Coach Tucker and Coach Blythe, for winning the tournament in their age group! They played well as a team and have showed how much they have developed together.

The 2019 team really came together as a team and coaching staff to be able to field a solid team for the event. Their excellence as coaches and players brought attention from other spectators who appreciated their sportsmanship, dedication and teamwork.

The 2018’s lead by Coach Stevenson got off to a fast start on Saturday winning their first two games until suffering a 1 goal loss to the eventual co-champion of the 2018 division, Maryland Roughriders Elite.  Sunday began with an outstanding team effort by climbing out of a 3 goal deficit against VEL, ultimately losing in overtime.  The 2018’s came back strong with a convincing victory in their second game and suffered another loss in the third game against the Md. Roughriders Select.  The team’s record for the weekend was 3-3.

Thanks again to all the coaches, players & parents! We also received many compliments from the hotel management and referees on how well behaved and respectful our organization was! Special thanks to Jeff Jaycox for all he does for our organization!
