Scott Holava

Coach Holava - Head Coach - 2023

Coach "H" played in college at SUNY Cortland (2 years) and Virginia Wesleyan University (2 years). As a freshman at SUNY Cortland, he participated on the 1986 Final Four team which advanced to the NCAA Semifinals.

In 1991, he transferred to VWU where he ended his career as an All-ODAC attackman, and set the 1991 NCAA single game scoring record with 13 points (2g, 11a) in one game. He represented VWU in the 1992 North/South All-Star game, and led the South in scoring with 2 goals and 2 assists. Each year at VWU, a freshman men's lacrosse player receives the "Scott Holava Most Outstanding Freshman" award.

Coach "H" is a US Lacrosse Certified Coach, and he has been coaching youth lacrosse since 2006. His current coaching roles include: Boy's Varsity Head Coach at Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School; Head Coach 757 Select 2023;  & U14/U12 Coach for Southside Lacrosse League (HRLax).

He lives in Virginia Beach with his wife and their three sons. He is employed as a web developer and enjoys making the internet.
