Bill Devine

Bill has been involved in lacrosse as a player, coach, and official for more than 40 years. Bill began his playing career at Norfolk Academy, played in Washington & Lee's program for 2 seasons, then served as an Assistant Coach for W&L's JV team in 1982, at Virginia Military Institute in 1983, and at The College of William & Mary in 1984. He was the Head Coach of William & Mary's last Division I teams in 1985 and 1986, with a record of 14-7. He served as an Assistant at Norfolk Academy during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Bill has officiated lacrosse since 1981. He began officiating college games in 1987 and has worked top Division I and numerous conference and NCAA playoff games for the past 15 years. He was selected to officiate the 2005 NCAA Division III Championship Game and the 2010 World Championships in Manchester, England, and was as a member of the Selection Committee to choose US officials for the Under 19 World Championships.
